RENO CONNECTIONS: REAL SUPPORT. REAL RELATIONSHIPS.
Life can feel complicated—and overwhelming. Reno Connections walks alongside individuals and families as they navigate community resources. Our main purpose is to help you connect with trusted nonprofits and services in Reno County, so you can get the support you need.
We don’t provide direct financial help or tangible items. Instead, we help you understand what’s available, make a plan, and stick with you as you work toward stability. Our goal is long-term change—not quick fixes—so you don’t have to stay stuck in crisis.
We meet you where you are, without judgment. Whether you're unsure where to begin, struggling to get paperwork done, or needing encouragement through the process, we’re here with you through every step.
Please note: Reno Connections does not provide direct financial assistance for rent or utilities but can connect you to programs that do.
Who We Serve
We welcome anyone in Reno County seeking support, especially families with children ages 0–5. You don’t have to meet income requirements or fill out complicated paperwork to begin.
Reno Connections does not provide direct financial assistance (like rent or utilities), but we connect you to programs that do, and stay involved to help you follow through.
Why It Matters
Accessing help can be overwhelming. Applications, eligibility rules, long waitlists, and confusing systems can keep families stuck. Reno Connections provides a steady support system—walking with you, removing barriers, and celebrating progress along the way—until you feel confident and independent.
You don’t have to figure this out alone. We’re here for the journey.

What We Do
At Reno Connections, our work is about people—not paperwork. We walk alongside you as you navigate community resources, helping you understand what’s available and how to access it. From identifying needs to making warm introductions to partner agencies, our team is here to support you every step of the way. These images show what that looks like in real life.

What We Don't Do
We want to be upfront about what we don’t provide so expectations are clear. Reno Connections does not offer direct financial assistance, emergency cash, or material goods such as rent or utility support. Instead, our role is to walk with you as we connect you to programs that may be able to help. We stay engaged, encourage follow-through, and support long-term progress—but we don’t distribute funds or items ourselves.
